For funsies and a bit of inspiration, I’m posting some design challenges from DailyUI.com (although not particularly daily). These are meant to be conceived and executed rapidly. So I don’t spend more than two hours coming up with, creating, and publishing any of these.
DailyUI prompts are always quite vague, and this one is to “Design Settings for Something.”
For content direction today, I was struck for inspiration by the REM song “It’s the End of the World.”
So I turned the intro stanza of the song into a tongue-in-cheek settings page complete with some creative repurposing and modification of standard Material icons, and a little original icon work mixed in. I pulled colors and font inspiration from the album art, as well :)
